Ms. Dawson’s 3 rd Grade Class Welcome Students!

Welcome to 3 rd Grade!  This is an important year for you!  I will give you an introduction to 3rd grade and to our classroom.  If you have any questions during my presentation, please raise your hand and wait to be called on.

All About Me  My Background  I grew up in Pine Creek.  I attended Bay Elementary, Bay High, and East College.  My Experience  I’ve been teaching for 20 years.  I have taught 5 th and 6 th grades, but 3 rd is my favorite.

Goals  To give you the academic tools you need to progress to 4th grade.  To provide a supportive learning environment.  To have fun while we learn.  To make new friends and discover new interests.
