4 th period In-class Assignment and Homework Read ch. 8 and complete a DEJ analyzing parody and irony. You must have 3 pieces of textual evidence from ch. 8. DUE TOMORROW-Thurs 1/23 at the beginning of class.

In-class Assignment and Homework Read your assigned chapter (either chapter 9 or 10). As you read think-”What is the most important passage in this chapter?”. After the first reading, go back to the text and find one quote that exemplifies what is most important idea or event that occurs in the chapter. Also answer the questions on the next slide.
