New evaluation of d+Li data up to 50 MeV for IFMIF P. Pereslavtsev, U. Fischer Association FZK-Euratom Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, Germany Technical Meeting on International Fusion Materials Irradiation Facility Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, 4-6 October 2005 Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe in der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft

Technical Meeting on IFMIF, Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, October History   1998 – FZK (P. Wilson) simple evaporation model; Serber stripping model; experimental data for thick target at 32 MeV analytical formulas used in MCNP source subroutine (McDeli)   1999 – INPE-FZK analytical formulas for deuteron elastic scattering; optical model potentials; intranuclear cascade model; Serber stripping model; experimental data for thick target at 32 MeV ENDF-6 formatted files for deuteron energies up to 50 MeV new source subroutine for MCNP based on NJOY processed files   2001 – FZK revisions of INPE evaluated data based on experimental data for thick targets at 32 and 40 MeV   2004 – FZK revisions of INPE evaluated data (new deuteron elastic scattering data based on phenomenological OMP from 1 to 50 MeV)

Technical Meeting on IFMIF, Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, October Status of d+Li data (E d =17 MeV)

Technical Meeting on IFMIF, Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, October Status of d+Li data (E d =40 MeV)

Technical Meeting on IFMIF, Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, October Background and goals   The neutron source for IFMIF is based on d+Li reactions;   Available high energy general purpose d+Li data files fail in description of the experimental data;   General purpose deuteron cross section data files have to cover energies up to 50 MeV;   Data should include particle and photons emission spectra to enable nuclear heating calculations;   Data files should be ENDF-6 formatted for processing with the standard NJOY99 code.
