Speakers Notes This weeks topic: Strategy requires systems
Click here to your host…Click here to your host… “Strategies supported by sound systems allow for smooth sailing.” Glen A. McQuirk If you want to grow beyond what you yourself are capable of, you need to document the methods you use and develop user friendly systems that can equip people less able that you to do what you currently do better than what you do it. Systems allow people to avoid making the same mistakes that you did. This means a saving in money, time, frustration, training and more. The system does not have to be prefect at all, Thomas Edison simply documented the way he tried to develop a light bulb the first time, the second time, the third time until after nearly 10,000 times he got it right. Today, everyone uses the method that worked and no longer need to go through all the trials. Any system is better than no system. The best system is one that is regularly reviewed and always improving. The more people involved in testing the systems, the faster you can make the mistakes and improve the process.
