 What is a robot?  What is an engineer?  How do engineers solve problems?  What types of problems to engineers face?  What are the scientific and mathematical concepts that underlie robotics?  How do you prioritize tasks for a deadline?

 Working in teams to solve problems  Building and designing robots  Cooperating and competing  Planning and executing tasks related to robotics (setting up a workroom, searching for grants and writing proposals)

 Your task is to brainstorm ideas for equipment you would want in a robot workshop.  Within your group, have one person record the ideas from the whole group on a sheet of paper.  In the brainstorming session, all ideas should be recorded whether they are realistic or not.  Make sure each person’s name is on the groups paper, it will be collected.
