THREE “MUST” INGREDIENTS FOR A SOULWINNING CHRISTIAN!

must When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples) He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. And he must needs go through Samaria. A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. JOHN 4

Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” Then they went out of the city and came to Him. And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all that I ever did.”

“And He must needs go through Samaria.”

DANIEL 12:3 “They that turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever and ever.”

“MUST” INGREDIENT #1: VISION!

THREE REVIEW QUESTIONS! 1.What is your vision in the most important ministry I can give you? 2.What goals have you set for yourself in the area of soulwinning? 3.Are you going to be a better servant in this field 12 months from today?

“Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.”

“MUST” INGREDIENT #2: DETERMINATION!

if we don’t give up “Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows he will also reap, because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit. So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.” (Gal. 6:7-9)

“MUST” INGREDIENT #3: COMPASSION!

The closer I get to Jesus, the closer soulwinning will get to me! “When Jesus saw the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were weary and worn out, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
