AKHAL-TEKE Akhal-Teke horse breed has an average height of 16 hands, which is moderately taller than the average for all Horse Breeds. The life expectancy of the Akhal- Teke is 20 years, which is slightly worse than the average for all Horse Breeds. The average weight of a Akhal-Teke horse is 1,000 pounds, which is slightly lighter than the average for all Horse Breeds The Akhal-Teke horse breed has been seen with a Bay, Black, Buckskin, Chesnut, Cremello, Gray, Palomino and Perlino colored coat. The Akhal-Teke is a Hotblooded horse breed.
