Foundation #1 – The Sufficiency of Scripture Q: Where do I turn for help with my marriage? 2 Timothy 3: Peter 1:3 The sufficiency of Scripture shows me that the Bible is both a manual to guide my marriage and that it alone is sufficient to address any and every marriage problem I have.

Foundation #2 – The Glory of God Q: What is marriage all about? Wrong goals in marriage: Be happy Have needs met To feel loved To be satisfied sexually To have someone to do all the things I dont want to do 1 Corinthians 10:31 2 Corinthians 5:9, 15 Marriage is about pleasing, honoring, and glorifying Jesus Christ.
