Zespół Szkół Urszulańskich in Rybnik
The Ursuline Order was founded by Angela Merici in the 16th century. The Ursuline Sisters came to Rybnik in 1922
No school – the Second World War and the period (due to communist government)
The Ursuline uniform has not changed much over the years...
After a 20-year break in 1982 the Ursulines reopened the school as a Private Secondary School for girls.
In 2003 our school became co-educational

Todays Rybnik Ursuline Schools consist of -Middle School (Gimnazjum) -Secondary School (Liceum)
7 classes in Gimnazjum (13-16 year-olds). 7 classes in Liceum (16-19 year- olds)
This year there are 400 students in our school.

Whenever it is warm enough students have their gym lessons outside
Students can always visit the chapel which is used both by the school and the convent
