Foundation Board of Trustees Background Established in 1986 to manage and secure funds beyond those normally available to SAE for educational activities developed by SAE operating boards and committees such as: – A World in Motion (Grades 4 - 8) – Awards and Recognitions for achievements in the engineering field – Collegiate Design Competitions - Formula SAE, Aero Design, Mini Baja & Clean Snowmobile – Doctoral Scholars Program – Undergraduate Engineering Scholarships - over $1,000,000 awarded annually
