C AMPUS & S TUDENT C ENTERS What is the Box Office System? – 1 of 1 Press Enter to Continue WCSU developed the Box Office System as means to address Connecticut state law that require pre-printed and pre-numbered tickets to control admission to student events where an admission fee is charged. The system maintains all financial records and maintains the patron file of all customers. The system assumes all responsibility for the collection of fees and transfers those fees to the organization (less any costs).

C AMPUS & S TUDENT C ENTERS Box Office Services – 1 of 3 Press Enter to Continue The Box Office System provides ticket and sales support for all events where there is an admission charge, raffle tickets, trip sales and sign-ups, and any other program that needs ticket support. Box Office personnel will sell the tickets and handle any paperwork that needs to be distributed with the tickets (travel due warning and emergency contact forms).

C AMPUS & S TUDENT C ENTERS Box Office Services – 2 of 3 Press Enter to Continue Tickets are sold at the WCSU Box Offices and on-line. WCSU students tickets are not made available on-line since IDs must be verified. As with any tickets purchased on-line, there are web fees associated with the purchase. Tickets can be consigned to a student leader for direct sales by the student. This method is mainly used for raffle tickets. The student is responsible for the tickets and all money collected (see Consigned Tickets).
