Use of the Media in the 20 th Century Vijay Patel

The media item that has affected the internet is the newspaper. First, even before the internet was ever invented if you wanted to go watch on your favorite character you had to find out through the newspaper, friends telling you about it also when you were watching television and during commercials the advertisement came on or when you went to the movies you found out through the previews before your actual movie started. Well now the rules have definitely changed for the better. What I mean by this is that you have all kinds of options to play with now in order to find out when you movie actor or actress will be coming out with a movie you have lots of web sites you can go to, as well as the newspapers, friends telling you about the actor or actresses, even television advertisements on television while watching television shows will definitely inform you within every twenty to thirty minute breaks that so and so is coming out with a movie on a certain date and it is worth watching. The more it keeps appearing on television the more I am inclined to go see it if it has my favorite actor or actresses. Once I see this movie after finding out about it in different media forms than I tell my friends to go see it in the theatre by giving it two thumbs up, or if it is mediocre than wait for it to come out on dvd, or if it stinks altogether than dont bother wasting money to see it at all. I am very much happy that internet was created just so we can find out all the history we need to know about the actors or actresses. I also am very happy that we have other options such as magazines, televisions, and friends to rely on about what we think of the movie or when a movie actors or actresses are coming out with a movie. I am glad that internet is staying updated with the twentieth century for all kinds of information. I mean I can find out any and all kinds of information on any given actors or actresses as to how old they are or in which city were they born in. Furthermore the other reason as to why I am glad the internet was created is because we can use pictures on any actors or actresses as screen savers by going to certain web sites where as we could not do that back in the 1950s, and the 1960s. I also can find out what the actors and actresss addresses are on the internet if I want to send them mail for an autograph picture that I can put up on the wall. For example I went to see the movie Jurrasic Park after watching previews on television I told my friend not to go an watch it in the theatre because it was not worth spending $5 for a movie instead if he was anxious to still see that movie than he can wait for it to come out on video or dvd, or if he still did not want to spend that much on a movie than he can just wait to see it on television. I would also tell my friend by giving him two thumbs up if the movie is worth watching by spending $8 just to go see it in the theatre. I also will tell my friend by giving him one thumbs up if the movie is worth the wait for it to come out on dvd. I would inform my friends by not giving any kind of thumb signs if the movie is boring altogether and they should wait for it to come out on television.
