Important facts about God’s guidance: God has a plan and purpose for your life. "God planned for us to do good things and to live as he has always wanted us to live. That’s why he sent Christ to make us what we are." (Ephesians 2:10)

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord." (Psalm 37:23)

Important facts about God’s guidance: 2. God has promised to reveal His plan to you. "You said to me, 'I will point out the road that you should follow, and I will be your teacher and watch over you.'" (Psalm 32:8) "Your advice has been my guide, and later you will welcome me in glory.” (Psalm 73:24)

Aspects of God’s will: 1. His plan has been revealed in His Word, and it applies to all Christians…The written will of God. 2. God’s will involves decisions for which He has given no specific directions…The unwritten will of God.

Principles to follow: 1. Obey the written will of God first. 2. Fall In love with God. The best way to know God’s will is to say, “I will” to God. 3. Be willing to accept the will of God before knowing what it is.

What then, shall we say in response to this What then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? (Romans 8:31-32)

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:1-6)
