W HY ? In NI, 1 in 4 adults have poor numeracy skills. Therefore 1 in 4 people are more likely to be unemployed or in low paid jobs. ONE You don’t want to be the ONE in four.

S O WHAT CAN YOU DO ? 1. Attitude -Take every opportunity to improve your skills not just in Maths Lessons. 2. Attendance -You must be at school fully equipped to learn. 3. Achievement -Learn the basics. -Complete all work, ask for help and do your best.

Y EAR 8, 9,10 Year 10 is a very important year However, The preparation starts in Year 8!
