Background 11 year old boy Problems with Aggression, Compliance, and AWOL System – Low to Middle SES – Enmeshed relationship with parents – 2 differing parenting styles – No structured routine present

Overview Service lasted 9 months Service was provided out in the community including his home and school. Target behaviors – Aggression – Non-compliance – AWOL Implemented tangible visual aids to assist in implementing a structured routine tailored to the individual

Coordination of Care All MH services were provided at HOPE – Counseling, Collateral (parent education), Psychiatry, and TBS Working with outside agencies to utilize strengths and build upon them by having a meeting every 4-6 weeks during the duration of TBS – Able to pull skills from different settings to create a streamlined plan that worked for individual

Results Behaviors were decreased to: 0 incidents of aggression, increasing compliance in the home and school settings, and reducing AWOL to 0. Support system: Family, teacher’s aide, and extended family. Transition plan: continuing counseling and collateral support at HOPE. Starting an afterschool program and recreational activities. Graduation!!!!
