A Dream Comes True and Tomkin to the Rescue It is a fantasy story of dreams, friendship, promises being forgotten and remembering to fulfill them. It has two main characters: Tomkin --- the tailor boy The Stool --- Tomkin’s friend and advisor

RECAP The Recap will be done in the form of sequenced questions for active participation of the student. What dream does Tomkin have? What does his friend advise him? What is the promise made by Tomkin? Etc.

Individual Reading Individual reading will be done and the correction in pronunciation will be made individually.

Written Work Written work is done according to the scheme of DHA schools, which includes Word/meanings, question/answers, sentences and objectives.

Assessment / Evaluation Students will be asked questions about the story to assess their comprehension of the story They will be asked meanings of the words after they have finished the written work They will be asked questions about the moral of the story and the different aspects of life, like making promises, keeping promises, accepting mistakes etc. Worksheet will be given in the form of multiple choice questions.

Assignment To read the lesson before it is started in class Underlining the difficult words and finding their meanings from the dictionary To make Title Page of any picture from the story and describe the picture in their own words.
