COMPARATIVE OF EQUALITY AS adjective AS tão quanto Ele é tão alto quanto Magic Johnson. HE IS AS TALL AS MAGIC JOHNSON. Eles não são tão bons quanto nós. THEY AREN’T AS GOOD AS WE. SO GOOD AS WE.

COMPARATIVE OF INFERIORITY LESS adjective THAN menos do que Este carro é menos caro do que aquele. THIS CAR IS LESS EXPENSIVE THAN THAT ONE. Esta cadeira é menos confortável do que aquela. THIS CHAIR IS LESS COMFORTABLE THAN THAT ONE.

COMPARATIVE OF SUPERIORITY Acrescenta-se ER a adjetivos de uma sílaba ou de duas sílabas. adjective + ER THAN mais do que John é mais rico do que Paul. JOHN IS RICHER THAN PAUL.

SUPERLATIVE OF SUPERIORITY Acrescentamos ‘EST’ aos adjetivos de uma sílaba ou adjetivos de duas sílabas terminados em: THE adjective + EST O,A,(s) mais John é o cara mais rico da cidade. JOHN IS THE RICHEST GUY OF THE CITY.

SUPERLATIVE OF SUPERIORITY Para adjetivos com mais de duas sílabas. THE MOST + adjective O,A,(s) mais Ele é o motorista mais descuidado que eu conheço. HE IS THE MOST CARELESS DRIVER THAT I’VE EVER KNOWN.
