Supporting AT Use in Arizona Schools AzTAP is a program of the Institute for Human Development at Northern Arizona University

Historical Perspective: Relationship Building Arizona Department of Education (ADE) had history of contracting for AT related services:  Circa 1990 contract in place with NAU for AT related services for assessments  1997 ADE RFP for AT Training/TA statewide  awarded to nonprofit organization  Since 2000, ADE provided $$ support for AzTAP’s AT Conference  2005 ADE hired its own AT coordinator and decided to EXPAND and bring program back in house  2006 AzTAP was asked to create/manage an AT Loan Library  2007 political winds ADE  new Special Ed leadership, less territoriality, increased collaboration

Contract: Interagency Service Agreement Scope of Work Manage the ADE Short term Loan Library  Develop policies and procedures Collaborate with ADE to identify ongoing equipment needs Categorize and store devices Maintain inventory in proper working order Vendor collaboration Data collection and reporting Collaborate with ADE to monitor program outcomes
