Working at School and Staying on Topic

When I am at school there are many things to talk about in day When I am at school there are many things to talk about in day. Some are fun and some are work. Some are my choice and some are not. My teachers know when it is time for work and when we are finished. They know when we can think and talk about work, and when it is okay to talk about other things too.

When we are doing work- like math and ELA and Science, it is important to try to think about my work. When we are at specials, it is really important to try to listen to the teacher and not to interrupt. Thinking about my work and listening to the teachers will help me to learn more and to be a good student. Not interrupting (staying on topic) shows good manners and respect. I beat Legend of Zelda last night…..

Then I can make some choices for fun! When I stay on topic (this means think about my work and do not interrupt the teacher) My teachers will know that I am trying my best to be a great student. If I do my work: Think about work Talk about work Don’t interrupt Then I can make some choices for fun!
