LES DOMAINES BARONS DE ROTHSCHILD (LAFITE)

DBR (LAFITE) HISTORIC Château Lafite Rothschild has been in the Rothschild family since 1868 and is at the origin of the group. From 1962, other prestigious Bordeaux properties were purchased and joined the group : Duhart-Milon, Rieussec and L'Evangile. In 1984, Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite)’s began its expansion outside of France with the acquisition of exceptional vineyards : Los Vascos in Chile, Chalone Wine Group in California, and finally Quinta do Carmo in Portugal and Bodegas Caro in Argentina. Since 1995, the group has developed a new series of specially selected wines from Bordeaux appellations, the Collection Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and two new projects are in progress : Château d’Aussières in Languedoc and Rocca di Frassinello in Italy.
