Do YOU want to be a Student Ambassador? Created by former Student Ambassadors in 2012

What is a Student Ambassador? A fun and exciting service and a leadership club. We represent Archer Lodge in the community, get involved in fun projects and show our Gator spirit.

What we do We give tours to:  Rising sixth graders  New Students We help put up flyers  For food drives  Dances (also we sponsor dances)  Other fundraisers to help In charge of flag duty  To put it up in the morning and to take it down in the afternoon

How to Join Complete an application that you have to return to the Guidance office.

Campus Tours We show around the sixth graders and new students and just tell them the routine of their day. Also we just show them around the school and help them if they have any questions on what to do.

Meetings Most meetings are in the morning while some are in the afternoon. During the meetings we plan for the month ahead and volunteer for the different fundraisers or events that will happen in the time to come. We also get a Student Ambassador Gazette to see what we have accomplished.

Flag Patrol Every morning and every afternoon we raise the flag and take it down. We switch who does flag patrol half way through the year. If you do not know how to fold the flags that is okay, another student ambassador will teach you how.

Neon Dance This year student ambassadors sponsored a dance and it was neon themed. We raised a lot of money that we were able to use for events such as a field trip.

Parties! We have parties that are just for student ambassadors. We had a Winter Wonderland themed party where we got to play on the Wii and had lots of good food. At the end of the year we had another themed party.

Fundraisers We help put up fliers for events such as the annual food drive and the household drive.

Field Trips We went on a field trip to the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill. Last year we went to the Capitol in Raleigh and the Governor's garden.

Come join us! We would love to have you as an ALMS student ambassador!
