The terms selected will appear in the Searching box; click Search for results.

Once you are signed in to EBSCO, click Add to folder

Write the where you want to receive the alerts from your search

Now start selecting your articles and saving them into your folder, “CRITICAL THINKING.” Click Add to folder and save them by selecting critical thinking. When you finished filing, please open you folder to verify what you have done.

Your results has been narrowed to 35. In the following slides you will open windows for title, item information, export citation and PDF.

If you find a good article on the topic you have chosen, you can also click on Find Similar for more articles about the same topic.

The Subject Headings list what searches could be entered to obtain this article. In other words, what the main topics of the article are. From the subject heading options, select all the articles on Ethics, for example.

Abstract Clicking on “abstract” provides the reader with a brief summary of what the article is about. This is quite useful during searches concerning a topic of choice because it eliminates unnecessary reading of entire articles. Yes, an abstract can become a timely academic life saver!

Write your terms or words in the search box and click search. From your results see the titles and also the URL, all from universities or research/government institutions

Select and open the full text box

Select your articles and click on the title

Select the terms that the systems suggests to you
