10th INTERNATIONAL NURSING RESEARCH CONFERENCE Margarida Reis Santos Albacete, November 2006 CONCLUSIONS The results obtained in our study are in accordance with the literature: Many youngsters begin their sexual activity while teenagers (Bekaert, 2005) Girls become sexually active earlier than boys, but boys have a higher number of sexual partners (Durex Report, 2004; Coslin, 2003) Sexual Behaviour of High-school Adolescents
