What if Something Happens? What You Should Know About the Consequences of a Broken iPad

Thanks for the Funny Student Video! Way to go! But seriously, what happens if you break the iPad?

What if I lose/break the cord or power brick? You must return an Apple Power cord and an Apple Power Brick at the end of the year. You can purchase them online, at a store or through us for: Power cord- $5 Power Brick and Cord- $10

Want to carve your name into your Otterbox case? Think seriously about damaging the Otterbox case. It should be left on the iPad and turned in with no stickers, carvings, marks or damage of any sort. If you need to replace it, the cost is: $45 (which is half of the price for it online or at a store)

Did you accidentally break your iPad? Crack the screen? If your screen is broken or your iPad is damaged in any way, you will need to pay a $50 deductible for the first time, second time will be full repair cost. If there is something wrong with your iPad out of the box, take it to the library so we can return it to Apple. You will be issued another one.

What if it’s stolen? Lost? Report to the library within 3 days if your iPad is lost or stolen. If the iPad is not returned at the end of the year or upon termination of enrollment, the replacement cost for the iPad is due. Police report will be filed.

Thank you for taking care of the iPad! You never know who will receive your iPad next year. It could be YOU! We know you want to check out an iPad in perfect condition next year so you’ll take care of yours this year.
