Military Opportunities  5 Branches of the Military  Check out all options before deciding  Take the ASVAB test early so you can retake it if necessary  Benefits of the military:  Educational benefits  Advanced training  Housing and food allowances (or free housing on base)  Health and Dental care  World Travel  Pension

Vocational/Trade Schools  Privately-owned schools that teach students the skills needed to perform a specific job.  Can be much more expensive than attending a regular college  Sometimes the same certificate can be earned at a community college  Examples of vocational careers:  Hairstylist  Automotive Technician  Medical Assistant  Truck Driver
