Setting up Eclipse PSC 120 Jeff Schank

Outline Find our user account Create “PSC120” Folder Create a “workspace” folder Link it to Eclipse Install Mason Do a test run Take a quiz

Find the Users Folder

Find Your Account

Create PSC 120 Folder

Create “workspace” folder inside the PSC 120 Folder

Create at shortcut to Eclipse

Browse to Computer

Browse to Program Files

Browse to Eclipse 4.2 and Select “eclipse”

Click Next to continue

Double Click the “eclipse” Icon and link eclipse to the workspace folder

Eclipse will Now Open

With the Introduction Window Closed we Have

Install Mason.zip file Go to PSC 120 course page and click on the zip icon: Save it to your workspace folder Install it in eclipse by selecting “import” from the “File” menu in eclipse

Install Mason into Eclipse

Select archive file

Select the mason zip file

If it worked:

Open Mason

Open src and select AntsForageWithUI.java

Run by clicking the green arrow
