Carl Sandburg Middle School Setting Up Your Binder = Being READY

Binder Contents Zipper pouch in front which always has at least one: Pen (blue, black, & additional color) Pencil (Regular and Colored) Eraser Highlighter Agenda Book/Calendar A color tab/Dividers for each class (each teacher will let you know if they would like their sections into content areas). Notebook Paper

What else goes in your binder: Class Notes/Cornell Notes Handouts Tests-returned by your teacher Older notes, learning logs Grade Sheets/Grading Log Extra Blank paper Optional—Folders with 3 hole punch!!! Highly Recommended

Blue Binder Blue binders should include: 1 Pencil pouch Agenda Period 1 Period 3 Period 5 Advisory – SRR book Period 7 The BLUE Binder should have an Advisory section and period 7. Therefore-after lunch, students will need to get their Blue Binder everyday.

White Binder White binders should include: 1 Pencil pouch Agenda Period 2 Period 4 Period 6 Don’t Forget--The BLUE Binder should have an Advisory section and period 7. Therefore-after lunch, students will need to get their Blue Binder everyday.
