Online Databases ► The Long Island University Library System subscribes to over 350 online databases. ► Many carry full-text journal articles ► Almost all databases are available remotely. ► The good news: The databases are available 24/7. ► The bad news: 350 is a lot! Library Barcode ► To access online databases remotely, a valid library barcode is needed. ► The Brooklyn Campus Library provides each Global College faculty and student a library barcode, renewable every year. ► The barcode is also needed for other Library Services, such as the InterLibrary Loan Service.

Virtual Reference Chat ► Want to chat with a library faculty at the Reference Desk? Sure! ► Operating Hours:  Regular Semester (6 – 9 pm Monday - Thursday)  Summer Session (5 - 7 pm Monday – Thursday) ► us at

Electronic Reserves (ERes) ► The library provides the ERes system to host course reserve materials submitted by faculty. ► Obtain the password to the course page from your professor and happy reading!
