Things we must remember in 2014 Hebrews 12:18-29 and 13:1-14

I. Whatever happens, we are secure under God’s grace vs II. We are to reverence our God; in spite of the grace we have found in Him vs A. How can we reverence Him? 1. Listening to what He says vs Receiving what He says vs Not forgetting that He will return vs Knowing that we will face Him vs 25,26 5. Understanding that anything that does not remain will be removed vs Surrendering to Him with our hearts on a daily basis, that Grace is everything vs God is a consuming fire vs 29

III. We are in this together 13:1-3 A. brotherly love is not a suggestion, but a command B. we should attempt to help EVERYONE in our path in SOME WAY, EVERYDAY IV. We are ultimately forgiven, but we can still face judgement in 2014 vs 4 V. We have every reason to be thankful in 2014 vs 5 VI. We have no reason to be afraid in 2014 vs 6 VII. We must not forget to pray for church leaders throughout the body, wherever they are serving. Vs 7 VII will bring change, but God never will vs 8 IX. Apostasy is all around us these days, stay grounded in God’s Word vs 9 X. Remember the suffering of our Saviour, because He has not yet returned vs 10-14
