Three Sections! 1/ Overview 2/The Issue 3/ Your Solution.

Overview. Introduction, and the circumstances in which it was established. It should give somebody who is reading the project for the first time a sense of what it is about. Short/succinct. What is your one sentence description of your project?

The Issue. Define what the societal issue/problem is. (300 words) Focus on describing the problem itself. DO NOT provide any details on the work your are going to do to address it. Draw on any examples and research evidence to support your answer.

Your Solution. This section presents your solution. It describes what you do,and explains how your solution works in addressing the societal issue/problem. Draw on examples and research to support your answer. Describe the solution you have developed. (200 words) Describe the research that you have carried out. (200 words)

What’s Different? You should be aware of what is currently done to address this problem, and know the market in which you operate. You should be able to explain why your approach is different, innovative and more effective than existing approaches in tackling this societal issue. Attempt to identify any other projects who at some level are working on this problem. Is there someone you can compare yourself with? In summary, who else is out there working on this problem, and what makes your approach different, innovative and more effective?
