To compare QUANTITIES (how many, how much) FORMULA: tanto +NOUN + como Julia tiene tanto dinero como yo. Julia has as much money as I (do). Pedro tiene tanto dinero como Elena. Pedro has as much money as Elena (does).

To compare QUANTITIES (how many, how much) The “tanto” has to agree with the NOUN So!!!! Look at the word that comes after ‘tanto’ and make sure you pick the correct form of ‘tanto.’ Ella tiene tanto dinero (masc. singular) como yo. Yo tengo tantos libros (masc. plural) como tú. Pedro tiene tanta energía (fem. Singular) como Juan. Nosotros tenemos tantas casas (fem. Plural) como él.
