Anveshna

Microscope …… Month April,  In our first Anveshna class we got a microscope, a box with 6 glass slides in it & a biological set.  As it was our first Anveshna class we were excited to do something with it.  We also got a homework of seeing a dead mosquito by putting it on one of the glass slides & seeing it from one of the microscopes.

Experience of night out in Meditation Center …… Month May,  When we went for the night out,we were really excited and for some children this was the first night out in the school. We arranged our sleeping bags,and took out our microscopes to discuss what we were going to do.We took algae to look it from the microscope. We also watched a movie named chiti chiti bang bang.

Bar Magnets…… Month July, We made a game from it of Tom & Jerry. We did some activities like finding out where is the strongest magnet and where are the magnets in our daily life. We made some things to learn more about magnets and learnt about North Pole and South Pole.

Visit to Science Museum…… Month July, We went to National Science Centre in Delhi and learnt many things. Like sound from a piano, earth and its necessities, dinosaur, old times, mirror maze. We also saw a 3d movie on evolution and environment.

Compass…… Month August, We went to meditation center for a treasure hunt. We got a compass and we were divided into 3 groups and got some chits to know where we are going. We had to find Polo and Chocolates which was our treasure. We also learnt how to use a compass

Windmill…… Month August, We made a paper windmill. We learnt how windmill works when wind passes through it.

Kaleidoscope…… Month September, We made a kaleidoscope with 3 joint mirrors in a triangle shape, broken colour pieces of bangle and covered with paper. We learnt how reflection of mirror changes with light reflection.

Robotics…… Month September, We learnt about Robots, what they do, how they work, how they were invented and how they can help us in our daily lives.

Boat…… Month October, We made a boat by using a tetrapack, 2 pencils, rubber band, tape and a part of cut file. We learnt about flotation and how effect of rotation on its movement.

Sultanpur Outing…… Month October, We left school at7.15 and it was very cold. When we reached sultanpur, we saw many types of birds, babool tree and also raw babool seeds, and its glue and burnt grass.

Vibration…… Month November, We got a clothes hanger with a thick, long thread and we tied it and banged it on the table and heard the vibration like zzzzzzzzz………… We learnt how vibration happens and how we can hear it.

Damdama Outing…… Month February, We did trekking, did adventure activities, went on the boat, and also did tetrapack boat racing and balloon car racing. We saw a snail shell called VeVe Pera and saw lots of birds. It was a wonderful day.

Chemistry…… Month February, We did experiments with boiled Red cabbage, benedict solution, iodine solution, starch, glucose, base and acid. When we mixed 2 solutions, we saw the results.
