Being a Ministry- Minded Overseer Session 12

Knowledge Objectives  Recognize how death to self is the atomic-level component of Christianity.  Understand that each of us is called to be spiritually parenting others.  Explain the main discipleship emphasis illustrated in each of the three parenting periods: the preschool years, the school-age years, and the teen years.

Application Objectives  Respond by practicing God- dependent self-denial.  Respond by embracing a life of law and order so that you are productive.  Respond by allowing God to use you as a servant-leader.  Respond by using every day to get ready for “the biggest day” of your life when you will stand before God.

Being a Ministry- Minded Overseer Session 12

The Atomic Structure of Christianity: Death “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” Luke 9:23-24

John 12:24 “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.” “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”
