New for 2012-2013 Landscape Architecture THD 4M1 This will be a hands on course that will teach you the various aspects of landscape design and construction Students will have an opportunity to work in the courtyard to develop real life skills

New for 2012 - 2013 Fitness and Recreation Leadership PLF4C This course will be 70% classroom based and 30% activity based Ideal for those students looking to develop or improve their leadership abilities in a phys ed setting This course will prepare students for Fitness and Recreation programs at College

Co-op Program at Mowat There is no application process– simply choose COOP as an option in myBlueprint.ca/tdsb COOP4 – 4 credit full day every other day COOP2 – 2 credit half day every other day For more information: a) see Mrs. Graves or Mr. Dias Monday’s in the library b) see a guidance counselor In March and April the COOP teachers will meet with you to discuss your placement and options moving forward

Offers of Admission Offers of admission may be granted as early as February, and will be given on an ongoing basis until May. Most students will receive an offer of admission after the April transmission Offers must be accepted by May 1, 2012 for Ontario colleges. Each college will determine the due date to confirm offers made after May1, 2012. Offers must be accepted by June 1, 2012 for Ontario universities. The latest date of an offer by any university will be May 29, 2012.

Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) Students may apply for OSAP once offer from college or university has been accepted. Contact OSAP Officer at the school you will be attending. www.osap.gov.on.ca
