Executive Summary: Updated Marine Biology Course of Study This Marine Biology Course of Study updates the previously UC-approved course of study to better reflect the course content and activities. Process : –The two teachers who currently teach the course, Shirley Ford (Bear Creek) and Sandra Starr (Tokay) wrote the updated course of study. –7-12 Science Articulation reviewed and recommended approval - August 14, 2008 –Sent to 9-12 principals via - August 21, 2008 –Curriculum Council approval for recommendation - September 18, 2008 Recommendation: Approval of updated course of study.

Marine Biology: Course of Study Proposal  Course Objective: After completing this course, students will demonstrate a broad knowledge base with which to make responsible personal and societal decision
