Subsection ‘The sheets or beams shall be of prime finish, that is, free from injurious defects such as blisters, flux, and uncoated spots. Uncoated edges resulting from transverse shearing or punching of holes will not be considered objectionable.’

Performance Evaluation NCHRP 20-7 Accelerated Weathering Expected results in approximately 12 months?? Subcommittee on Materials TS 4d Revision of the standard will only occur if the performance is shown to be inferior with the sheared transverse edges.
