Smallest visual entity Point of Emphasis: An area in a piece that is dominant, or eye catching. Implied Point: A point that is assumed or suggested. Applied Point: A point that is physically there. Visual Hierarchy: Is the actual physical location of elements that create focal points. (composition) Proximity: Position of elements that relate to each other. Point
