FATE: the universal principle or ultimate agency by which the order of things is presumably prescribed; the decreed cause of events; time: “Fate decreed they would never meet again.” FREE WILL: Philosophy. the doctrine that the conduct of human beings expresses personal choice and is not simply determined by physical or divine forces. Introduction: Respond to the above quote. Body Paragraph One: What do you believe and Why? Body Paragraph Two: What role does fate and free will play in our society today? Conclusion

PERIOD 1A: The 32-Second Macbeth Form two groups of ten. Each group will be decide who will be which actor Actors 1-8 and Macbeth One person will “direct”, timekeep, and critique You will rehearse the 32-second script for about 15 minutes. You MUST do all the stage direction (actually HIT THE FLOOR if you die… etc.) Your voice must use the appropriate inflections and drama. This is a dramatic reading!!! Your 32-second Macbeth reading MUST be as close to 32 seconds as possible. Once you have rehearsed, each group will perform the 32-second Macbeth for the class. The teacher (substitute) will decide the winner based on two factors: Who got closest to 32 seconds Whose reading was the most dramatic/entertaining
