The Portrait 2And it will rest (NAVACH) upon him, the Spirit (RUACH) of YHWH: RUACH of Wisdom (CHOKMAH) and Discernment (BIYNAH) RUACH of Strategy/Counsel (ETSAH) and Might (GEBURAH) RUACH of Knowledge (DAAT) and the Fear (YIRAT) of YHWH 3And as a result his delight will be in the fear of the YHWH And not according to the seeing of His eyes will He judge And not according to the hearing of His ears will He rebuke/decide 4But He will judge in Righteousness the poor And He will rebuke/decide in Fairness for the afflicted of the Land. And He will strike the Land with a rod (SHEVET) of His mouth And with the breath (RUACH) of His lips He will slay the wicked. 5And Righteousness will be the garment about His loins; And Faithfulness the garment about His waist.

The Curse Removed

Is 11:6 Isaiah 11:6 6 וְגָ ֤ ר זְאֵב ֙ עִם־כֶּ ֔ בֶשׂ וְנָמֵ ֖ ר עִם־גְּדִ ֣ י יִרְבָּ ֑ ץ וְעֵ ֨ גֶל וּכְפִ ֤ יר וּמְרִיא ֙ יַחְדָּ ֔ ו וְנַ ֥ עַר קָטֹ ֖ ן נֹהֵ ֥ ג בָּֽם׃ And (as a result) It will sojourn (GAVAR), the wolf with the lamb And the leopard with the kid will lie down (RABATS) And the young bull and the young lion and the fatted steer together And the small boy will lead/drive (NAHAG) them

Observations Nature will no longer be at war with itself. – Wolf and lamb in the lamb’s sheepfold together – Leopard and kid goat lying together – Cattle and lion in the same space Nature will no longer be at war against man… – The little boy leads the cattle and the lion without fear …So that the animals are once again under the authority of human beings!

Is 11:7 Isaiah 11:7 7 וּפָרָ ֤ ה וָדֹב ֙ תִּרְעֶ ֔ ינָה יַחְדָּ ֖ ו יִרְבְּצ ֣ וּ יַלְדֵיהֶ ֑ ן וְאַרְיֵ ֖ ה כַּבָּקָ ֥ ר יֹֽאכַל־תֶּֽבֶן׃ And the cow and the bear will graze (RA’AH) Together they will lie down, their young (YELED—born ones) And the lion like the ox will eat straw!

Extent of the Restoration Food is no longer a matter of sacrifice of life in the animal world. The Peace of the Kingdom of Heaven means no competition of survival for sustenance. The animals’ digestive anatomy will adjust to a vegetarian diet! Both animal instinct and physiology will change dramatically

Is 11:8 Isaiah 11:8 8 וְשִֽׁעֲשַׁ ֥ ע יוֹנֵ ֖ ק עַל־חֻ ֣ ר פָּ ֑ תֶן וְעַל ֙ מְאוּרַ ֣ ת צִפְעוֹנִ ֔ י גָּמ ֖ וּל יָדֹ ֥ ו הָדָֽה׃ And he will play (SHA’A’), a sucker, at the hole of the horned viper And at the hole of the poisonous snake the weaned child his hand will put out

Is 11:9 Isaiah 11:9 9 לֹֽא־יָרֵ ֥ עוּ וְלֹֽא־יַשְׁחִ ֖ יתוּ בְּכָל־הַ ֣ ר קָדְשִׁ ֑ י כִּֽי־מָלְאָ ֣ ה הָאָ ֗ רֶץ דֵּעָה ֙ אֶת־יְהוָ ֔ ה כַּמַּ ֖ יִם לַיָּ ֥ ם מְכַסִּֽים׃ פ They will not hurt and they will not destroy in all My Holy Mountain For it will be full, the earth, with the knowledge of YHWH like the waters cover the sea.

The Political Ramifications of the Kingdom 10And then in that Day, the Root of Jesse, which will stand for a guide-on to the peoples-- To Him the nations will seek for guidance (DARASH), And His resting place will be glorious!

11 Then it will be in that Day the Master (ADONAI) will add His hand a second time to aquire/purchase (QANAH) the Remnant of His People, Who remain in Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Kush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
