Creating an Order Set 1) Free-text the name of a New Order Set; ENTER Type “Y”; ENTER
Press ENTER to move your cursor through each modifiable option on the screen until you have File/Exit(ed).
1) ENTER 2) Enter Order Type (i.e. Lab, Rad, RX, or Con); ENTER 3) Type in the desired Lab, Rad, Rx, or Con; ENTER Depending on what Order Type you entered, you will be taken through the ordering process for that Order Type. The following slides only demonstrate a lab order.
Schedule Type is defaulted for “Now”, but you can change this if desired; ENTER, ENTER, ENTER, ENTER if you are okay with the defaults. Type in a comment; ENTER

Option 2: Modifying an Order Set Free-text the name of an Existing Order Set; ENTER

Option 2: Step 3-Modify Type “M” to modify, or “D” to delete specific orders; ENTER
Option 2: Step 4-Select Item to Modify Use the END key to select the order(s) you need to modify; ENTER
Option 2: Step 5-Change Item Press ENTER to move your cursor through each modifiable option on the screen until you have File/Exit(ed).
