Whats an Adobe Bridge Anyway? From Classroom in a Book - Adobe PhotoShop CS3

Open PhotoShop 1.Find the go to Adobe Bridge button in the top right hand side of the PhotoShop Menu Bar. 2.Another way to open Adobe Bridge within PhotoShop CS3 is File>Browse. Adobe Bridge is a stand-alone file browser application that serves as the hub for the Adobe Creative Suite.

Find Lesson 1b start & dbl click it open 3. Find the Text tool and hold it down and select the Horizontal text tool. Check out the tool options bar at the top of the PS workspace. 4. Choose a Garamond type with a 38 pt size. Note: On most labels in PhotoShop you may find a scrubby slider bar that may adjust the tool by pushing left or right. 5. Now click with your text tool button anywhere on the left side of the image. Type Monday is Beach Cleanup Day. 6. In the toolbox, select the move tool.

Drag the text into the white triangle at the bottom of the image. 7.Click on the horizontal text tool and then click and drag over all the letters to select them. 8.Now find the color swatches on the right hand side of your work area. Remember, if you cant find a palette look in Window at the top of your screen to find the missing palette. 9.Find the light violet color.

Where is light violet you say? 10. I know that you are thinking that there is no light violet words to describe these colors. Remember that this is Adobe and all will be made clear once you find what is hidden. Here is how to it. 11. Click the move tool. Now go to the swatches palette and click the small arrow on the top right hand side and Whala.

Finishing touches 12. Now choose a color and size for your name other than light violet or black. Place your name on the sand. 13. Click on the hand tool in the toolbox. 14. Reset the default colors to black/white.

Extra Credit Use the fx button at the bottom of the layers palette to add a stroke and a bevel/emboss to your name layer.
