 The Law Reads:  * “Such premiums shall be valid for the fiscal year for which the premiums are made and shall be made for one (1) or more of the following reasons as identified as leadership priorities by the board of trustees:  * a) Providing instruction in a subject in which the employee holds a content area master’s degree;  * b) Teaching a course in which students earn both high school and college credit;  * c) Teaching a course to middle school students for which the students earn both middle school and high school credit;  * d) Holding and providing service in multiple nonadministrative certificate or subject endorsement areas;  * e) Serving in an instructional area designated as hard to fill by the board of trustees;  * f) Providing mentoring, peer assistance, or professional development pursuant to section (17), Idaho Code.  * g) Having received professional development in career and academic counseling, and then providing career or academic counseling for students, with such services incorporated within or provided in addition to the teacher’s regular classroom duties;  * h) Other leadership duties designated by the board of trustees, exclusive of student activities or athletics.  Idaho System for Educational Excellence: Longitudinal data system. Information about students that will transfer with them when students transfer to different Idaho school districts.  Pursuant to section , Idaho Code, each School District and Public Charter School is required to adopt and implement the model policy approved by the State Board of Education, to assure that individual student educational information is treated safely and securely and in a consistent manner throughout the state.  All students enrolled at Preston High School are required to be enrolled in 6 of the 7 available class periods and to be continuously enrolled through graduation. Students requesting more than one release time are required make a written request to the Superintendent. Students meeting graduation requirements early are required enroll in enrichment classes (electives) or online classes to take advantage of State initiatives to fund dual credit or other college credit classesuntil that time when their class graduates.
