Sugar Prepare 4 cups of sugar

Rice Cook 1lb of medium grain rice according to the package instructions

Raisins 1 cup of raisins will be sprinkled over the batter before placing in the oven

Milk 4 cups of milk

Vanilla Extract 2 Tablespoons of Pure Vanilla Extract

Lemon Flavoring 1 Tablespoon of Lemon Flavoring

Eggs 7 large eggs

Instant Pudding/Pie Filling - Lemon 3.4 oz package of Lemon Instant Pudding/Pie Filling

Butter 2 sticks of butter

Cooking Process Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Cook the rice according to package directions. Step 2 Once rice is finished cooking remove from the stove, add two sticks of butter and stir to melt the butter. Step 3 Add 4 cups of sugar and mix with mixer

Family Significance My mother’s rice pudding is an anticipated desert at family gatherings, particularly, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Its distinct taste causes rice pudding lovers to become long-term fans! It is a recipe passed down to my mother by her mother. The purpose of this presentation is to preserve the recipe and pass it down to future generations.
