Welcome Reflection Debrief –Fishbowl Group Data Work Action Planning Agenda

1. Read through protocol. 2. Form groups of 3, each with a participant/facilitator. 3. Materials: chart paper & markers 4. Complete evaluation Reflection: What? So What? Now What

Select a facilitator and recorder. Total time 20 minutes or 5 minutes per question. Discuss and chart responses: What do you know about Building a Data Wall? What questions do you have about Building a Data Wall? What do you know about facilitating the Inquiry Protocol? What questions do you have about facilitating the Inquiry Protocol? Optional: List names of participants on chart Debrief of Grade 1 Fishbowl

Form 4 groups of 5-6 people each. Select a facilitator. Time: 1 hour (30 minutes per data set) 1. Use Go Around Protocol; 3 minutes per person/card 2. One at a time, draw a data card. Present your data card, including information including Risk Rating, percentiles for fluency, vocabulary and comprehension, phonics survey data and OAKS data. 3. Group discusses best instructional focus group placement. Complete as many as possible in 15 minutes 4. Inquiry Protocol: 5 minutes Round 1: What do you see? What do you know? Round 2: What is significant or important about what you see? 5. Discuss and chart high leverage instructional strategies ( comprehension & vocabulary; fluency; multisyllabic word reading) for each Tier 2 focus group. Post by pocket chart. 10 minutes 6. Move tables and repeat steps 1 – 5 with new data set 7. Evaluation Group Data Work
