ORDINANCE N In 2007 Livorno Port Authority set about regulating vocational training activities through an ordinance for: Defining and setting up basic training and re-training programs with the issue of a “passport” or “certified curriculum” authorizing people to work in the port Carrying out the monitoring of port worker professional expertise and skills related to operational cycle activities in view of producing a yearly “Training Plan for the Port Sector” Defining training contents, modalities and assessment criteria through guidelines on minimum skill standards required for each task and/or activity carried out by workers DEVISE A SYSTEM FOR TRAINING, CERTIFYING AND VALIDATING PORT COMPETENCES

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR TRAINING IN PORTS Implementation of a common training and competences certification model for port sector workers. REGIONAL AGREEMENT FOR TRAINING IN PORTS Experiment validation and certification processes with the aim of structuring a common model for certifying competences (formal, non-formal and informal) Integration of port & logistics sector job profiles in Tuscany County Council’s Repertoire of Port Professions WORK GROUPS WITH TUSCANY COUNNTY COUNCIL, PORT AUTHORITIES AND DISTRICT COUNCILS Creation of common guidelines for the regulation of a Training, Certification and Validation system in line with VET and EQF; "Certified Professional Curriculum" to be integrated with the Training Record; Outline common lines for planning, carrying out and evaluating training programs and verify competences acquired; "Archimedes" project to test a model of certification of competences acquired in formal, non-formal and informal contexts.
