Hampshire TEENAGE PROJECT Activities Booklet – September Edition September is rapidly upon us. Summer Holidays are something of a mere memory. So lets brighten up the darker days with some fun activities and social events to make us forget the dull nights and cold days! We also have a visit planned to Harry Potter World on Saturday 1 st November. The approximate cost of the trip will be about £30 (inc mini bus). This will need to be booked very soon, as this amazing day out is very popular. We will need to hear from you to reserve a space by Saturday 13 th September; there will be a £10 deposit needed so get booking onto that ASAP to secure your place!!

Clarence Pier Bonanza! So Autumn is upon us again, and everyone is going back to school/college. So lets start this month with all the fun at the fair. Clarence pier is there for our taking that day whether we wish to explore the lights, music, arcade machines and fun of the pier or, for our more daring Young People, the thrill of the rides. Perhaps just a casual beating of the staff at crazy golf? It should be a fun thrill packed afternoon!! Don’t forget to bring a drink and a snack. When: Saturday 6 nd September Times: 2:00-4:00pm Where: Meet at Hover Craft Entrance Cost: £2.00 (Plus spending money for activities, including the fair – suggested £8) Feast Times! Cooking Time!! So we all enjoyed making our healthy Pizzas and LOVED eating them, So this month I thought we could combine our healthy Pizza with our not so healthy cakes to have a bit of a feast and have a fun social gathering too. It is also a good time to discuses any fun activities for next months programme so get your thinking caps on guys!! Hot drinks, and squash will be provided. When: Saturday 13 th September Times: 2:00-5:00pm Where: Springwood Community Centre Cost: £6.00 Games Day!! So we have discussed this day on many occasions now, and it is finally upon us!! I am going to bring in my Xbox (no old board games today!!) Feel free to bring along any Xbox items you may wish. We have got a connect to play with too!! I only have 2 controllers so if any of you wish to bring along another feel free :) This is a wonderful opportunity to socialise with all of our regular attendants and meet some of our newest members. Hot drinks, and squash will be provided. When: Saturday 20 th September Times: 2:30-5:00pm Where: Broadlaw Community Centre Cost: £5.00 Arty Potz. So we are joining forces with our wonderful friends from our PALS project at our old time favourite Arty Potz. Whether you wish to make a present for your nearest or dearest or paint a plate to eat all your wonderful dinners off of Arty Potz is the place to do so! Get your creative hats on and let your artistic side take over!! When: Sunday 28 th September Times: 1:30-3:30pm Where: 66 Castle Road, Southsea, PO53AZ Cost: £8.00 (plus extra if you want a more expensive piece)
