12 of 15Laws 13 and 14 Overview FREE KICK “RULES” Ball placed at point of infraction (3 exceptions) Ball must be stationary No encroachment by opponents DFK & IFK - ball may be kicked in any direction Penalty Kick – ball must be kicked forward Ball is in play when it is kicked and moves (and leaves penalty area if appropriate) No “double touch” by kicker Cannot score directly (first touch) against self
