Significant Safety Achievements- 8/14 The Chemical Management System (CMS) self-assessment project was completed. Initial set-up of WPC Activity Manager “projects” and “activities’ has started as part of the soft roll-out. Follow-up on fire marshal inspection reports has been on- going. A list of EETD items has been developed and distributed to those responsible for follow-up. Old chemical clean-outs were completed in and Developed Lock-Out/Tag-out procedures for B31 refrigerator test chamber and FLEXLAB 90X-3. The draft 2015 Self Assessment Plan has been completed and sent out for comment. The August EETD Safety Committee meeting was completed.

Short Term Safety Outlook- 9/14 Continue the set-up of the Work Planning and Control (WPC) “projects” and “activities” framework for EETD. Assist with the drop ceiling installation in FLEXLAB 90X3. Complete the flame resistant lab coat corrective action. Continue to address issues identified by the fire marshal in EETD buildings. Assist with the set-up for new lab areas and /293. Complete old chemical/sample clean-outs in /62-246, , , , and Develop FLEXLAB user safety orientation training. Develop lab area safety lead orientation training.
