Degree Structure Entry after comprehensive school (9 years, age 16) 1 st year basic studies 2 nd year advanced professional studies 3 rd year professional orientation studies For students having completed upper secondary school, the education lasts 2 years For students completing both Vocational Qualification and Matriculation Examination, the education lasts 4 years Practical training: 2-3 periods, 6 months total
