OPP K.I.D.S 2013 Mental Health Awareness Develop an understanding of the impact and seriousness of mental health issues for themselves and members of their community Examine the definition of mental health and learn to identify both symptoms and warning signs Identify a variety of ways to maintain overall mental wellbeing Explore options for seeking help for themselves and others

Upon completion of the OPP K.I.D.S Program in the fall there will be an evaluation period conducted. PC Krpan will consult the involved teachers for feedback. If the program proves successful, PC Krpan will schedule the remainder of public and catholic schools with the OPP K.I.D.S Program for winter sessions and spring sessions.
